A passionate response to my year in 2014 and what 2015 holds.

It is Friday 2nd January today and I am sitting contemplating my New Year’s Inspiration List for 2015 and reviewing 2014.

2014 was a wonderful year for me. David and I and the children had a wonderful holiday, I completed 3 more subjects of my Graduate Diploma of Counselling, I completed a Fondo Ride down near Murwullimbah, I completed the ride leg of the Noosa Triathlon, I had six months of no alcohol, and I have had a wonderful year of spending time with my family and friends. I feel that I eat more healthily, I meditate daily, I exercise regularly and I really enjoy the exercise that I do. I have a wonderful marriage and I am proud and excited about how my children are growing up and I love them very much.

I am looking forward to 2015 very much. I am going to finish my Graduate Diploma, get a job, and continue to build on my fitness. My goal this year is to be stronger. I am going to stop offering excuses about why I am not the fastest strongest rider or the most academic student. I have done so much work on conquering fear and this year is the year I am going to use all the work I have done to be stronger and more confident in all areas of my life. I will always work on developing myself and learning more about how to eat in a way that makes me feel the best, how to exercise in a way that makes me feel the best , how to quieten my mind in a way that makes me function in the happiest way and who to surround myself with to support me and the choices that I make. I am a firm believer that if I am the best person I can be that I have the best chance of having a marriage that is happy and a family who is loving and happy .

I wish all my family and friends much happiness for 2015.

You know what Jen? I think you are perfect just the way you are so relax and enjoy yourself. Continue to grow and gain knowledge as we do with age and maturity but go easy on yourself along the way. You are doing a splendid job in all areas of your life.
