Day 36

Today is Friday. We visited Volubilis – the most amazing Roman ruined city. It has beautifully preserved mosaics dating back to the 2nd and 3rd centuries AD.

On the way to Volubulis we stopped to admire the view. I had to take a photo of one of the mules. They are everywhere here and make me feel like we have stepped back in time. We have got used to the words Barak Barak which means get out of the way of the mule!!!!

We then visited a granerie and stables. This area has just had a big agricultural show – like our Ekka but on an international scale.
